This past Sunday I took part in San Francisco's favorite pastime; that of course being brunch. I took a trip out to 3rd Base (which is a new microhood within the Dogpatch neighborhood) to visit Serpentine for a delicious brunch. I then ended up across the street at Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous for some candied violet ice cream in a handmade ice cream cone (needless to say it was amazing!) If it wasn't enough to have two insanely good food spots right across the street from each other,Sutton Cellars (which is right down the block) was having a wine tasting and someone else was serving up what looked to be delicious pizza (though I was absolutely stuffed at that point and couldn't test it out for myself). It may be a bit out of the way but I definitely enjoyed my time in the Dogpatch!

This weekend was all about maintenance on the hair and eyebrows. I moved to San Francisco after college, over 3 years ago, and it took me about a year to find people I really trusted to take care of my face and hair. I found my hairstylist, Mia (Color by Mia), because she was one of the only stylists in the city that knew how to do balayage coloring. (This is a treatment that I use to get done when I lived in France. It much less damaging on your hair and the color last longer.) I love going to Mia because its like catching up with you're favorite girlfriend and you leave looking fabulous! My eyebrows are a whole other story. Unfortunately, I had the bad experience of having someone wax them so thin that it really damaged my eyebrow growth. Luckily, I found Sara at Blink Eyebrows and she has been amazing at helping reshape them.
My boyfriend takes all my shots and requested I put this one in. Here you go babe!
The weather was amazing during the daytime this weekend and we actually saw some sun and warmer temps. That of course didn't stop it from cooling off during the afternoon/night which is why it is so important to have a jacket with you at all times. This was my jacket of choice for the weekend. It's lightweight so it's easy to carry with you when you don't need to be wearing it and its neutral color makes it easy to pair with almost any outfit. Plus I'm loving the cute little ruffles on the front!

I love a good 6 inch heels as much as the next girl but sometimes you just need to change it up and wear flats. I love these white H&M flats and I added my latest 2B necklace to bring it all together. We are finally getting a bit of heat in San Francisco and I am loving every minute of it!
Gryphon Jacket, Zara Top, Urban Outfitter Dress (worn as a skirt), H&M Shoes
I have a tendency to wear lots of black, white and various shades of gray when I dress for work. So when I decided to switch things up a bit and wear this (I guess we can call it Salmon) colored shirt to work, I was pleasantly surprised by what a positive reaction it elicited from my coworkers. I love that the simple act of adding a bright color to an outfit can have such an impact on your day. Needless to say this will quickly become a staple in my wardrobe.
