The Lab Event & Runway Show!

We are so excited to be a part of The Lab Event being held in Sonoma County on January 14th. The Lab Event will  feature the top wedding trends, delicious caterers, dessert designers and a runway show that we have been invited to walk in! The event is designed to be an experience for couples seeking vendors, inspiration, and style definition for their wedding day.

Waterfront

I hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays!  I've pretty much spent my time off eating, watching episode after episode of Downton Abbey and Revenge, and then eating some more.  Great way to spend some time off if you ask me.  I did make it out of the house for a bit yesterday and of course had to test out my new bag (thanks Santa!) Even though it is bright pink and probably better suited for spring/summer months, I was obviously not able to wait until then to use it!

Pink Structure

I hope all of you had a great Holiday break! It has been so nice catching up with the family and getting into the Christmas spirit. I have gorged myself on all the food, cookies and candy these past couple of days. I took these shots before I left for Seattle. The weather in San Francisco had been quite mild for winter and no jacket was even necessary. I love days like that!

Snowflakes

Only 9 short hours stand between me and a week long vacation.  Woohoo!  I was feeling a bit festive so threw on my most holiday like sweater, leather pants (because nothing says the holidays like leather pants, right??) and my favorite booties.  I finally finished my Christmas shopping (phew, that was a close one) and am ready to enjoy some much needed time off!

A Winter Love

This post is going to be a little different and longer. Carolyn is one of my oldest friend's and a true free spirit. We are complete opposites, and I absolutely love her for it! She got married in Seattle early this month and she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. She was bold and beautiful in a ball gown trimmed with lace. The wedding was an intimate occasion with the bride and groom laughing throughout the ceremony.

Morning

We took a few quick pics before work this morning (while also walking the dog...gotta love multi-tasking!) We all know I love stripes (as shown here, here and here) and this dress is no exception.  I love that it's comfortable and casual, but still appropriate for work.  Hope everyone is getting excited for the holidays.  I know I am (even though I haven't exactly started my Christmas shopping just yet).
