Sheer Dots

I wore this last week to work and then to a dinner that Soma Magazine and Diesel hosted in San Francisco. As you can see I am still on my polka dot craze. I think my favorite part of this outfit has to either be the shoes or the blouse. I mean, polka dot and cap toes, need I say more?

Craving: Polka Dots

images via: 1,2,3

I finally realized what is missing in my closet: Polka dots! I am having a serious love affair with polka dot pants lately. Slightly obsessed with the styling that Mode Operandi did with these pants. I am on the hunt for some black and white pants but these colorful ones, especially the yellow, have caught my eye.

Something about Stripes

Happy Friday! We are highlighting one of our favorite trends: Stripes! There are so many ways to incorporate stripes into an outfit. You can go dressy, casual, and even retro. Bold stripes definitely make a larger impact but the stripe look is just as effective when the stripes are thin. I often get the nautical vibe from stripes, but they are also a great way to add a layering piece to your outfit.  Do you rock stripes?

Always a Classic

I love great layering pieces and a denim jacket is definitely a key piece to have. I added it to help bring a casual element to to the skirt and colorful sweater. I also love that the day after I wore this Vogue confirmed the jean jacket is back. And if the fashion bible says it, who am I to argue.

Fun in the Sun

It's only Wednesday and its already been a long week. I am craving sun, sand and relaxation. It feels like forever since I have indulged in a tropical getaway, just get away and unplug. It sounds amazing right now. I think I need to get a exotic vacation on the calendar, and that means, swimsuit shopping!

Points de Rouges

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather we had this weekend. I was shopping down by Union Square on Saturday and got to see a flash mob! They broke out dancing right down by the trolley on Powell. I wished I had filmed it but I was enjoying it too much. The tourists waiting to board the trolley were loving it after overcoming their initial confusion. Just one of the reasons I love San Francisco. You never know what you are going to see!

Something Borrowed

I wear this dress constantly as it is perfect for work.  I typically throw a blazer over the top but since I was home with the family I decided to skip the blazer and dress it up a bit (perfect for a nice dinner out!)  I borrowed my mom's Dooney & Bourke bag as it just went perfectly with the dress and accented the whole outfit with some leopard print heels!

To the Stars

I saw this jacket in Zara and it was love at first sight. I told you its dangerous for me to go in there. I love the mix of textures on it. I also have been on the hunt for some cap toe heels. I really wanted the Zara ones, but didn't end up buying them and of course they sold out. So when I stumbled across these on ASOS I didn't even hesitate. I was a littler nervous when they arrived as ordering shoes online can be hit or miss, but they fit great.
See how Krystal wore this jacket. I love her casual version.

Home for the Weekend

These pictures are from when I was back in the Boston area for Easter visiting the family.  I had my amazing sister Kay and her friend Alexa take some photos of me out on our back deck.  I also decided to borrow my sister's new black suede Aldo wedges for the day.  Now if I could have just convinced her to let me take them home with me...
