Britt & Whit: A Converse Story

Britt's Converse Story
I honestly can't remember my first pair of Converse sneakers which means I must have been pretty young when I got them.  I do remember being extremely excited to get a classic black and white pair when I was in Junior High though.  Converse is such an iconic brand and I'm constantly amazed by the diversity of the styles.  No matter what look you are going for, there is a Converse sneaker to fit.  My favorite pair though are ones I bought while shopping with my little sister at the Converse store near my parent's house.  The  fabric has a metallic silver thread that sparkles in the sunlight!  I've pretty much worn them all over San Francisco at this point, from riding my bike along the Embarcadero, to taking my dog for trips to Fort Funston and Ocean Beach.

Whit's Converse Story
My very first pair of Converse were a pink pair that I wore into the ground during middle school. I had a huge pink obsession when I was young. Converse is such a great American brand. I love that Converse has a little something for everyone and they continue to do classic retakes on the old style shoes. I styled this pair with some mint jeans and rolled the cuffs up a bit.
These are such a great walking shoe, especially in San Francisco!

  1. I remember being so excited to get my first pair of Converse sneakers. I was in elementary school and only the popular kids had them. I remember being THRILLED when my parents finally said yes, I could have them. Such great shoes!

  2. I got my first Converse when I was in highschool. I've worn them almost every day. My friends and me painted on it, because it was cool. Someday my mom dicarded them and I was very angry. But today I understand it because they looked like out of the trash. haha

  5. Love, love Converse. I only have my black ones still (the other were tattered and torn), but I think a nice white pair is what I need for spring!

  8. Like it how you combined the sneaker :) I own one pair to, but to be honest I have worn them only once, but at the moment I like sneakers, too, especially my Isabel Marant and my Ash!
