Happy Tuesday everyone! Today we are excited to bring you our third style collaboration with T.J. Maxx!
The theme for today’s style challenge is mixed prints!
For this style challenge I wanted to focus on a more subtle way to mix prints. Instead of mixing bold prints like florals and stripes (which I’m a huge fan of!), I picked prints that were more about texture than color.
I was instantly drawn to the black on black print of this T.J. Maxx designer skirt. It worked perfectly with this white sweater with clear sequins on the front. To add a pop of color, I added a bright orange leather bag and an orange printed scarf. Finished the look with some lace up suede booties and tights. Perfect outfit for Fall or if you are nervous about mixing prints.
I am a big fan of mixing prints and was excited to get shopping for this challenge. I stumbled upon this cute grey sweatshirt at T.J. Maxx and just loved how cozy it felt. l love mixing different prints, especially when it involves animal print. Mixing bold prints can be a bit tricky so I like to add neutral colors to even out the prints. Mixing prints is a fun option because it helps you try a different take on classic items in your closet like gingham blouses or bold pants.
These tan ankle flats were an obvious choice as soon as I spotted them. I love the rich fabric and the subtle print on them. They have such a fun geometric pattern. Finding staple items like shoes or purses is always something I am looking for as I build my wardrobe. T.J. Maxx has a ton of great shoe choices for a great price. Simple flats like these are so necessary and a definite staple considering how much I walk around San Francisco.
