Getting started with Fabletics is easy! First of all, you technically don’t need a membership to shop the website, BUT if you want those amazingly steep discounts and early access to new drops, you’ll want to become a VIP member. You can sign up right on their website, take a style quiz, pick out what outfit you want, and get some cool new workout threads on your doorstep in no time!
With your membership comes monthly “credits” for you to use toward a curated outfit, or an item of clothing up to $100 in value. If you don’t use your credits one month, they’ll just roll over to the next. You can also use your monthly VIP membership credits at Yitty for some shapewear!
Fabletics collaborates with different well known celebrities (such as Vanessa Hudgens and Lizzo) to create curated lines of workout clothing. They also have a shapewear sister store called Yitty.
Joining the Fabletics VIP membership not only gives you amazing prices for good quality workout clothes, but you also get access to Fabletics fitness app: FIT.
Fabletics will charge your card automatically every month for the VIP membership, but you do have the option to skip a month or cancel your membership if you’d like. Just be sure to do so between the 1- 5th of the month!

When you join FabFitFun, you’ll get to choose whether you want to be a seasonal or an annual member. There are different perks to both of these membership subscriptions.

When your curated seasonal box is ready to ship out, you’ll be notified on a customization window. During this window you can search for other products that you’d prefer to try, and swap them out with something already in the box. Once this customization window closes, boxes will be shipped out, annual members first, and you’ll receive 8 full-sized products to give a go.
This is a bit funny, but a huge perk to getting a seasonal box through FabFitFun is that you have a great selection of last minute gifts on your hands should you need them!

How Much Do They Cost
For the value of what you get, both of these subscription boxes are great prices.
Fabletics
Being a VIP member with Fabletics costs $59.95 per month. This comes out as an automatic charge, and gives you certain benefits such as a credit that can be used toward a curated outfit, or item worth up to $100. You’ll also get access to the Fabletics FIT app.
If you skip the month, then your membership will cost you nothing. Just remember to do so between the 1st and the 5th.
You don’t need to be a VIP member to shop at Fabletics. But prices for each item will be higher, and you won’t get first access to new drops.
FabFitFun
You have two subscription options when it comes to joining FabFitFun:
- Seasonal membership subscription: $59.99 per box.
- Annual membership subscription: $219.99 prepayment for 4 boxes. This saves you about $5 per box.
With the value of each box being $200+, this is a great price. I don’t see the benefit to paying seasonally vs annually with only $5 in savings per box.

Fabletics brand, or other well-known and loved brands… Both of these boxes give you quality items for a great price.

What’s great about a VIP membership with Fabletics is that you know exactly what is coming your way! With your membership, you’ll get monthly credits that you can use toward a pre-curated outfit, or an item worth up to $100.
You have the choice between leggings, shorts, tops, bras, even other workout accessories such as shoes and socks, all styled by Fabletics themselves. You can even shop at Yitty for shapewear, and they have a subscription for men too! You’ll have a lot of options with colors and patterns, from items that are more muted and simple, to others that are loud and fierce.
Sizing goes from XXS to 4X for women, and XS to 4X for men.
FabFitFun
FabFitFun’s seasonal boxes are curated with beauty, fashion, fitness/wellness, home and lifestyle items from tried-and-true brands.
Some items in the current Winter 2022 box include: stud earrings from Coach, Chinese Laundry house slippers, a battery operated salt and pepper mill, mini humidifier and a hooded sherpa throw (perfect for winter!).
Final Thoughts

We personally like Fabletics better for a couple of reasons: You’ll get a box monthly (instead of seasonally) with new workout clothing or accessories to help you fuel your new year fitness resolutions that you may have made. We also like that you can easily skip a month if you decide you’d rather save the money, and that you can pick the outfit or items that you want to give a shot.
