Are you looking for a specific way to amp up your self-care?
Give the Loti Wellness Box a try! This box was founded by an occupational therapist and is curated by therapists to focus on improving your overall well-being- from mind to body. Their mission is to promote mental health awareness and to give you specific items that will help nourish your soul without taking too much time or effort. This sounds like the ultimate self-care box, doesn’t it?

Each month Loti picks a self-care theme to focus on, and the one I received was “revitalize.” In my revitalize box I received numerous skin care items such as a bath bomb, and stick lotion, and I also received a simmer mix to make my home smell amazing and an activity that spreads kindness and positivity. The item that I was most excited about was the simmer mix because I love an inviting aroma for my home. I was also super excited about the hyaluronic face mask I received. If you’re interested in a self-care box, this is a great one to start out with.
What We Like About Loti Wellness
Loti has a lot going for them! The products feel amazing and you can tell that they are quality. The whole vibe of the box is zen, relaxed, all for you if that makes sense. I love that this is a therapist curated and that the whole mission of this box is to promote conversations on mental health and how it’s not selfish but NECESSARY to put ourselves first at times. The variety of items I got in this box was great, and I honestly use most of them.
What We Don’t Like About Loti Wellness
For how much I like this subscription box, there are a few things that bug me. First off is the price. I did not feel like the price of $55.94 was worth what I received in terms of self-care. I wish that this box was a bit more affordable because it can be hard to practice self-care when you’re stressed about finances. Or you might as well go to the nail salon and get pampered vs pampering yourself for the same price. What do you think? Would this be worth it to you?
Another thing that really bothered me was the long shipping time! I totally understand the state of the economy and the impacts on shipping that we have seen over the last year. It’s not unreasonable to think that it may take a little longer than normal to receive your box. However, when I purchased my subscription, I didn’t have the faintest idea when it would ship. I didn’t receive any emails saying my order was being processed until a month later. I received my box a month after I purchased it, and felt I was not kept in the loop very well on where my order was and when it would get to me. Not to mention I finally received it on the 10 of June, and their billing for the next month is the 10 of June, so it felt a little fishy that I couldn’t check out the box fully first before I could decide if I wanted to renew my subscription.
***Currently I’m in the process of moving without a forwarding address for my next box yet, and Loti customer service has been vague and slow to respond when I contacted them about what I should do. Customer service can make or break a company!
What’s Inside The Loti Wellness Box
Anyway, let’s chat about what I actually got in my Revitalize self-care box from Loti…
Cocoa Butter Lotion Bar

The first product I pulled out was this cocoa butter lotion bar from SOAK Bath Co. At first, I thought it was kind of odd to have a lotion bar, but I’m used to the more watery lotions. But as I looked into it more I was sold, let me tell you why. First, the solid form of this lotion makes it even more moisturizing because it doesn’t have water added. This is really great for anyone with extreme dry skin issues and for during the cold winter months. The packaging is not only cute, but eco-friendly and very intuitive. I like how compact it is and that I can throw it in my bag on-the-go. The one thing I didn’t like is that it’s unscented. The reason it’s unscented is that the company wanted to keep the rich chocolate smell of the cocoa intact, but for me I would’ve liked a soft fragrance.
To use the lotion bar, all you need to do is take off the cap and gently push the bar up from the bottom of the tube. Then you smooth the lotion bar where you’d like, and let it drop back into the tube before capping it and throwing it in your purse.
Sweet Orange Bath Bomb

This bath bomb is also from SOAK Bath Co. It has a sweet citrusy scent, is a beautiful color, and I cannot wait to use it! It has an essential oil blend and moisturizing properties which will make for happy skin and relaxing bath time. On the website it recommends splitting it in half while dry to extend the bath bomb for two uses instead of one.
Kindness Compliment Cards

These cards are so cute! They’re called “Tiny Acts of Kindness Compliment” cards, and essentially their purpose is to spread joy and kindness to those around you by complimenting them. This could be a fun family scavenger hunt activity. Get your kids into it, and start spreading the compliments around like candy!
Cuticle oil
The Cutie Oil was a fun one to find in the box! I received the Mia scent which is a mix of passionfruit, tangerine, pink peony, and jasmine. They also have an unscented option and another scent called Olivine which is a mix of vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and blackberry. I bet this one smells amazing too! This oil is meant for your cuticles, nail beds, and the skin surrounding your nails and it has a doe-foot applicator for easy application. Also, TIP: the packaging says that you can put a small amount behind your ears for perfume in a pinch. It literally smells that amazing. LOVE.
Di Morelli Hydrating Face Mask
Another item I was really excited about is this Hydrating Face Mask from Di Morelli. This facemask has hyaluronic acid in it which is good for hydrating the skin and preventing fine lines and wrinkles. I’m all about my HA. This mask also has antioxidants and a plant complex to restore your skin so it’s the whole package and I really enjoyed using it on my dull and uneven skin. Use like any other mask: start with clean skin, place the mask on your face, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then massage the excess product into skin (my favorite part).
Simmer & Co. Simmer Mix

I think I may have been most excited about this when I saw it because I LOVE when my house smells good. It’s comforting to me, and I’m always looking for yummy but not overpowering scents for my home. This simmer mix has an uplifting aroma of dried orange slices, dried grapefruit slices, dried lime slices and bergamot-infused tea leaves. It’ll leave a happy and subtle scent in your home. Gosh, I love it. And it’s visually pleasing too.
To use you empty the package into a pot of water, bring the mix to a boil, then simmer on low. That’s it! What’s great is that you can also store this mix by putting the water and contents into the fridge, then reuse it as long as it smells good!
Revitalize Workbook
The last thing that was in my box was a workbook for this box’s theme: revitalize. As I said earlier, this box was curated by therapists for better mental health, so naturally, a self-care workbook to help your soul would be included. I’m all for this! The workbook’s focus on revitalizing your life when things feel stagnant is “novelty.” Novelty is essentially experiencing anything that’s new or unexpected. Novelty can give us a rush of happiness when we feel bored with life and that we aren’t progressing. That’s why so many people take vacations! This workbook helped explore the areas of your life where novelty is lacking and what you can change to implement more newness in your life.
Final Thoughts
Overall I really liked the contents of the Loti Revitalize box. The products were fun, they smelled amazing and felt like quality, but I did feel like the box is overpriced for what you get. I don’t know about you, but when I’m practicing self-care I don’t want to feel like I’m overspending on something I have to do myself. I’d rather put that money toward getting my nails done or a massage personally. But overall, I would give this box a thumbs up if you’re looking for something to nourish your body and soul.
